Minimum Qualifications:
Job Function: Qualcomm is looking for candidates to support its customers in designing solutions using Qualcomm chipset-based solutions. We are seeking a talented Automation Lead to join our team and contribute to the development of Customer Hardware design automation tools. As a Design Automation Lead, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining tools that support the design and validation of PCB platforms using Qualcomm chipsets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our tools meet the highest standards of quality and performance
Preferred Qualifications:
Tool Development: Design and develop automation tools for PCB / Platforms design and validation, including schematic and layout review tools, high speed Interface compliance verification tools, and more. Integration: Integrate new tools with existing design and validation infrastructure to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers to define requirements and ensure seamless integration of tools. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for tools and processes. Support: Provide training and support to internal teams and customers on the use of design automation tools. Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and scripting languages. Experience with EDA tools and software used in PCB and silicon design. Strong understanding of hardware design principles, including PCB layout and circuit design, SI simulation methodology and Design compliance methodology Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
