As the face of our hotel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences from check-in to check-out.Warmly greet and welcome guests, providing a friendly and professional first impressionEfficiently manage the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and attention to detailHandle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and empatheticallyCoordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs and resolve issuesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and events to assist guestsProcess reservations, room assignments, and billing accuratelyManage cash transactions and reconcile accounts at the end of each shiftCollaborate with the front office team to ensure smooth operations and excellent serviceAssist in training and mentoring new team membersMaintain a clean and organized front desk areaAdapt to changing situations and handle multiple tasks efficientlyEnsure compliance with hotel policies and safety proceduresQualificationsHotel Management Graduate / Diploma or equivalent qualificationStrong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanorExcellent communication abilities in English; multilingual skills are a plusProven experience in problem-solving and conflict resolutionProficiency in hotel management software and reservation systemsAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsBasic accounting and cash handling abilitiesFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysTeam player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of hotel operations and front office proceduresPrevious experience in hospitality or customer service preferredAbility to remain calm and efficient under pressureProficiency in Microsoft Office suiteAdditional InformationResponsible for daily administration, meeting and greeting, dealing with guests’ queries and complaints, and booking rooms. visitorsMaintain high standards of customer services at the Reception desk so that customers’ expectations are consistently exceeded.Motivate and develop Reception team to ensure smooth functioning of the department and promote teamwork.Any matter which may affect the interests of Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach should be brought to the attention of the Management.
