Position Summary and Location
This role involves analyzing, planning, and designing visual responses to communication requirements for both print and online publishing needs of the organization. The candidate will be responsible for respecting existing corporate identity guidelines and style guides while also improving them. Autonomy in project management and execution is a key aspect of this position.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Take full ownership of design projects from initial concept through to final delivery, ensuring high-quality output.
•Research project requirements and create necessary documentation, including design templates, style guides, technical specifications, and pilot materials.
•Design a variety of visual assets, including posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newsletters, and digital content such as logos, icons, and typography.
•Create intuitive user interfaces with a focus on enhancing user experience (UX).
•Produce sketches, artwork, illustrations, and fluid animations that align with animation principles.
•Adhere to and contribute to the development of branding guidelines, ensuring visual consistency across all materials.
•Collaborate effectively with animators, designers, and other team members, participating in regular teleconferences as needed.
•Organize and maintain a library of frequently used assets to streamline future projects.
•Embrace feedback and quickly adapt to new software, standards, and tools.
•Demonstrate a high level of initiative and self-direction in achieving both individual and departmental objectives.

Reporting Relationship
Qualifications
·Graduate (bachelor’s degree) or equivalent level of competence in Fine Arts/Multimedia discipline.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
·Three to five years of experience in graphic design or a related creative role.
·Strong knowledge of graphic design fundamentals, including typography, color theory, layout, and printing technology.
·Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator for high-quality design production.
·Familiarity with UI/UX design practices, responsive design, and experience with WordPress CMS and SharePoint.
·Basic understanding of animation principles and intermediate freehand drawing skills.
·Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic PHP for minor web updates.
·Competence with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and Google Workspace; experience with AI tools is a plus.
·Creative, innovative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
·Skilled in multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and managing time in a fast-paced environment.
·Self-motivated, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable engaging with all organizational levels.
Working Conditions
This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.
·Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night
·Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace
·Work surface is stable (flat).
