The IN Events at Amazon team leads the vision and execution of High Velocity Events (HVEs) for customers – think Amazon Great Indian Festival, Prime Day, Great Independence Day, Great Summer Sale, and Great Freedom Sale! We collaborate with category and program teams across Amazon to deliver exciting offers, personalized shopping experiences, and a sense of celebration during the biggest shopping events of the year.
We are looking for a smart, creative, results-oriented Graphic designer - with UI/UX design experience to be a part of planning and executing events for Amazon India. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating best in class on-site and off-site designs for High Velocity Events (HVEs).
This role is based in Bangalore. It is a full time contractual role.
Key job responsibilities
• Maintain a strong visual language (Identity) on- and off-platform for A.in
• Create and design new ideas and artwork for events
• Work closely with marketing managers to design mocks for new user interface ideas
• Create designs for multiple campaigns simultaneously while maintaining a high degree of attention to details when managing variations and feedback
• Creatively apply and help enhance Events style guides
• Manage communication from creation to upload of final graphic assets
• Coordinate with internal Events Marketing Managers, Associate Site Merchandisers, Category Marketing and Merchandising teams, and external agencies to create and execute marketing campaigns
• Leverage data in a way that informs your design decisions
• Communicate and present your work appropriately
• Online portfolio that demonstrates your ability to turn ideas into a strong and unique creative vision
• Bachelor's degree in design
• Ability to work cross-team and synthesise feedback and input from partner/stakeholder teams
• Understanding of technical issues, design functionality and cross channel testing
• Understanding of Brand visual identity/design
• A keen awareness of current trends in and graphic design
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time to meet aggressive deadlines
• Proficiency in Figma and the Adobe CS suite: XD, Photoshop, Illustrator. InDesign, Dreamweaver, Premiere and After Effects are a plus
•Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
• Prior work experience in e-commerce, retail, marketing or communications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and Excel
