JOB DESCRIPTION:Primary Function/Primary Goals/Objectives: GET is responsible for the product and process review, identification of process and capacity improvement opportunities, planning and execution of aligned improvement plan for Company.Primary purpose of role is to focus on on-time execution and deliver process improvement projects in compliance to GMP and Abbott EHS & quality standardsMajor Responsibilities:
Coordinate and review operational activities in Process area (viz., tipping, wet process and dryer.)
Study & analyse product formulations for processing feasibility & improvement for existing and new product formulations.
Coordinate with the R&D for product development, including design, planning and formulations.
Process feasibility assessment, process changes and capability need identification & assist in the preparation of feasibility level capital and operating costs for process improvement projects.
Liaise/connect with internal stakeholder, SMEs on product formulations, process improvements & capacity improvement
Promote and foster good human relations within the department and plant-wide and work to ensure that employees embrace the Abbott Values.
To provide innovative ideas of improving efficiency, product recovery & quality of overall processing operations.
To ensure product produced is safety compliant and is meeting Abbott quality standards and protocols.
To analyze Root Cause and assist CAPA for any failures in respective area and strive for sustainable solutions.
Lead process benchmarking, best practice execution for lean process and improved qulality through inetrnal audit, particpation in COP, Gemba.
Partner quality function in GMP and Quality issues and in provindg support in quality audits.
Lead the improvement projects assigned and ensure OTIF in completion.
Education:
Bachelor in Dairy Technology with 0 to 3 yrs experience/fresher.
Good understanding of milk/food processing,mixing, evaporation and spray drying, CIP ( Cleaning in place) methodlogy, production and/or material operations, Food safety management system, ISO, HACCP, Quality assurance, Risk assessment & EHS.
Knowledge in lean manufacturing or six-sigma methodologies
