The position


As a Social Media Community Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:


  • Drive day-to-day community management across Novo Nordisk’s corporate social media channels. Monitor online conversations and respond to comments and inquiries across various platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok). Act as Employer Branding’s community management liaison.


  • Oversee all campaigns on global channels and coordinate community management across campaigns with editorial teams in HQ. Monitor for safety information and report to the safety team according to agreed processes and Standard Operating Procedures.


  • Liaise with the social media account manager on improvements to the social media management system (BrandWatch). Align messages and community management with the Media Relations team during potential crises.


  • Provide weekly content updates to the Media Relations team’s weekly management update. Proactively identify content opportunities based on community management. Label and identify trends and issues in community management and report them to the Digital Communication team.


  • Update community management briefing documents & guidelines. Ensure all relevant community management materials and tools are available to colleagues on SharePoint.


  • Regularly review and update response templates to ensure completeness, consistency of messaging, and quality. Handle campaign tagging and coordination of labels. Provide ad hoc insights requests as needed from the Digital Communication team. Support insights on campaign follow-ups and development of content performance reports with sentiment analysis, qualitative examples, KPIs, etc.


  • Support social media content performance reports for EVPs (LinkedIn and Viva Engage). Assist the social media account manager with ad-hoc tasks such as onboarding new users, updating guides, and training new users.


Qualifications


We are looking for a candidate with:


  • Minimum 3 years of social media management experience.


  • Communication & customer service experience, preferably within healthcare.


  • Understanding of paid/earned/owned media strategies. Strong knowledge of traffic data, metrics, and KPIs. Knowledge of data privacy and GDPR.


  • Proficiency in community management systems (preferably Brandwatch) and campaign management tools (Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Business Manager, X Ads Manager, YouTube Campaign Manager, Google Ads).


About the department


The Commercial & Corporate Affairs – Global Business Services (CCA GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Senior Vice President (SVP) and Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas, including Global Public Affairs and Sustainability (GPAS), Patient Access, Marketing, Commercial Planning, and the Content Hub.
