JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develop and implement a robust quality assurance strategy that aligns with overall business objectives and industry best practices.
Lead and manage a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure their effectiveness and efficiency.
Oversee the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various types of testing, including functional, non-functional, and regression testing.
Establish and manage a defect tracking process, ensuring timely identification, reporting, and resolution of defects.
Collect and analyze quality metrics to identify trends, assess product quality, and measure the effectiveness of QA processes.
Develop and implement an automation strategy to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Drive continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
Effectively communicate quality status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including development teams, management, and customers.
Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a management role.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Expertise in various testing techniques, including functional, non-functional, and regression testing.
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Desired Skills (Additional)
Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience in the container terminal operating system (TOS) software
