The position


As a Global Launch manager at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible for:


  • Develop portfolio launch excellence playbook & processes to drive best practice sharing across markets and functions and guide affiliates to enhance launch execution approach and priorities with a portfolio perspective.
  • Lead launch coordination platform from GBS and establish the archetypes of successful launches based on internal & external factors.
  • Strategic project partnership in developing the forum of portfolio launches and ensure superior stakeholder satisfaction by delivering high-quality support.
  • Ownership and independently execute and manage tasks, ad-hoc deliverables, and projects with minimal supervision.
  • Support the launch planning and operations for products by collaborating with different functions within the organization.

Qualifications


  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree in business administration or a related field may be preferred by some organizations.
  • 7+ years of work experience in areas such as project management, product management, with a proven track record of success, in pharmaceutical industry.
  • Good appreciation of commercial side of business and strong management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships and effectively influence all levels of the business.
  • Ability to naturally assume ownership of initiatives, requiring minimal supervision to consistently deliver outstanding results.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different geographies.
  • Consult, present, influence cross-functional team and make recommendations to senior management with courage and confidence.
  • The candidate is expected to exhibit a high degree of flexibility as the nature & timing of the assignment of deliverables keeps changing with the ever-changing business dynamics. The candidate needs to demonstrate critical and pro-active thought process.

About the department


The Commercial, Global Business Services (GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning, and Commercial Operations. The unit also supports BioPharma global marketing for Haemophilia and growth disorders.
