Why this role is important to us
Global Accounting Operations (GAO) is an integral part of Controllership and Finance. Some of the key accounting processes that are in GAO include Balance Sheet Substantiation, Revenue Accounting Expense Accounting, Specialized Accounting, Integrated Close & Intercompany and Finance Systems Services (FSS). This position is an enabler within the GAO processes and other Controllership and Finance teams.
This position is pivotal to the overall execution of the GAO Roadmap which incorporates changes in operating model, process governance and process improvement initiatives. The role requires the ability to communicate, escalate and update all aspects of the GAO process on a timely and proactive basis. This role will be a key partner to the Head of Global Accounting Operations, as we develop the target state operating model and best in class processes for the future of accounting.
What you will be responsible for
Reporting and analysis
- Prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards and presentations for headcount activities including budgeting and variance analysis, process performance indicators, process controls etc. for executive leadership and stakeholders
Automation of reporting process:
- Automate repetitive reporting tasks ensuring accuracy and enhanced analytics across GAO processes
- Develop workflows to automate data collection, streamline reporting and execute presentation / delivery of reporting
Collaboration and Communication
- Partner with process leads to understand process linkages, interdependencies and proactively assess process risks and / or inefficiencies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify reporting needs and develop customized reports

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in financial analysis, project management, transformation, or a related role
- Previous experience in a finance role withing a large-scale or complex project environment
