Role Description
The role is an extension of the onshore GEM Business Management & Control team. It involves liaising with COO and Business Managers in GEM and Infrastructure partners. The role requires hands-on individual, who will be involved in the day to day running of the business & responsible for business management activities for GEM business.

Your key responsibilities
- Assist with running various Product working groups- including a detailed review of patterns and trends, Minutes taking and follow-up on actions from these working groups.
- Drive the New Product Approval (NPA)/ New Transaction Approval (NTA) processes for various businesses – coordinating with FO and other signatories (AFC, Compliance, MRM, Legal, Ops, Finance, Tech, etc) to explain the product, address queries and ensure timely signoffs.
- Manage post-implementation process around NPA/ NTAs like Condition review, date first traded, etc
- Participate in planning, execution and follow up of various business led initiatives e.g., analyzing internal business metrics data, preparing internal strategy and review presentations, client pipeline, managing projects etc.
- Building and maintaining strong partnerships with stakeholders across Front Office and Infrastructure domains.
Your skills and experience
- MBA in Finance from a premier institution with relevant experience
- 5-7 years work experience in banking domain working in Business Management / COO space.
- Prior experience of running projects within the Financial Markets / Investment Banking industry would be an added advantage. You may also specialize in a core change capability e.g. Business Analysis, Program Management, Process Improvement/Re-engineering, Change Adoption and Test Management
- Very strong analytical skill and ability to think laterally.
- Strong interpersonal and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated individual who is able to work to tight deadlines and without supervision
- Outgoing, confident candidate who is able to deal with senior management, cross division and cross-cultural teams
- Knowledge of Fixed Income Currencies products
