General Manager - Cotton Procurement

Note: Looking for a candidate having minimum experience of 10 yrs into Procurement of Raw Cotton directly from Farmers.

We are looking for the GM Cotton Operations to be part of the Cotton team and work on various projects like Market Operations, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Procurement etc.

Responsibilities of the individual will involve:

1. Work with cross functional departments to collect and compile operational data.
2. Taking care of the Marketing Operations as per the prescribed BRS and ensure smooth and flawless Operations.
3. Warehouse Management would be a major factor in terms of Distribution and Stock Inventory
4. Study industry reports & keep a tab on key developments and trends in the agriculture market.
5. Taking care of Procurement of Agriculture products on Day to Day Basis and preparing the material procurement plans of raw materials.
6. Excellent team management skills and trying to be in good reach with the Project Managers.
7. Cost Negotiation at the time of procurement
8. Experience of handling a team of 20 people and above
9. Experience of handling stock verification & Auction Mechanism.

Desired Profile:

Technical Competency:

• Ability to handle the complete SLCM of the product
• Strong understanding of the agriculture products. (Cotton preferred)
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint & Word

Education:

• B.Sc/ M.Sc - Agri/ Forestry & MBA into SLCM/ Operations or Textile Engineer with exp of working
