Who we are looking for:


The Global Delivery Simplification program is looking for an officer level business analyst to assist with data gathering and analysis related to manually instructed transactions received into our back office screening and processing teams. The candidate will be part of a focused team that identifies and regularly reports on manually instructed transactions in line with key initiatives. The reporting and subsequent analysis provides operating and project focused teams with “up to date” snap shots of volumes, types of activity being received and assists with query resolution. The team works closely with our business partners to ensure all reporting meets agreed upon deadlines.
 


What you will be responsible for:


As Business Analyst you will:


  • Complete data gathering for manually instructed volumes on a monthly basis (includes reviewing faxed or e-mailed instruction)
  • Provide completed data sets within specified deadlines
  • Utilize Excel to mine the data sets leveraging pivot tables and various Excel formulas
  • Budget your time effectively so one-off requests can be completed while still meeting standard deadlines
  • Assist management with ad-hoc queries as well as helping provide coverage during vacations, etc.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with business partners
     

What we value:


These skills will help you succeed in this role:


  • Strong Excel skills particularly pivot tables and formulas to help display results
  • Experience with manually instructed transactions (security / cash / FX transactions) received via fax and/or e-mail.
  • Willingness to ask questions and learn new material efficiently
  • Ability to further learn independently by taking concepts and/or seeking out more examples where time permits
  • Effective at communicating with teams in multiple locations / time zones

Education & Preferred Qualifications:


  • BA or BS undergraduate degree in finance or business field
  • Experience with MS Office suite particularly Excel
  • Experience working in a financial services firm processing various types of transactions
  • Macro/VBA/Power BI experience a plus
  • Good communication and internal relationship management skills

Shift : Could be either 3 pm to 12 am , 4 pm to 1 am or 5 pm to 2 am. Candidates should be flexible to work in any of these shifts
