Are you looking to expand your Fund Accounting knowledge, work on client deals, increase exposure to the Sales process & Finance teams?
As a Fund Accounting Product Associate within our specialized team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our client profitability. You will collaborate with Sales on new business opportunities and work closely with Operations, Finance, Client Service, and other partners.
Job Responsibilities
- Provisioning the Fund Accounting Cost to Serve (CTS) and deal pricing process.
- Pricing new and incremental business, performing deal reviews and re-pricings for the Fund Accounting Product.
- Maintain and develop cost and revenue models together with supporting fee template documentation.
- Identify areas of opportunity to develop and improve the CTS and Pricing process.
- Assisting with FA revenue management including monitoring of aged unbilled/unpaid invoices, impact of client onboard to financial forecasts.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Fund Accounting or Finance experience together with a sound understanding of the funds marketplace.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong MS Office skills in particular Excel (e.g., table functions, SUMIF, VLOOKUP, nested formula)
- Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task
- Previous financial modelling experience
- Ability to challenge data and deliver high quality financial data within tight deadlines
- Highly motivated and able to think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong team-working / relationship building skills, able to influence across a range of disciplines and at all levels and in a productive virtual team environment
- Strong independent contributor who is comfortable working in a self-directed mode on multiple assignments prioritizing own workload
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and demonstrate delivery of critical business goals
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Strong cross-functional/business collaboration skills are required as the candidate will work across multiple teams within the bank.
- Experience of CIB Fund Services Products
- Understanding of Fund Accounting core concepts that cover various asset classes/ investment strategies, trade lifecycle events, fund investment vehicles, and NAV processes
- Understanding of CIB Billing processes
