Job title: Functional Expert - Talent Management
Position Overview:
Sanofi is seeking a Digital Functional Expert in Talent Management products to join our dynamic Digital P&C / People Services team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for optimizing the configuration design and strategy for the Workday tenant configuration of the talent module, covering career development, performance management, disciplinary actions, and the Skills Cloud. Additionally, the role involves integrating talent management technologies such as candidate relationship management (CRM) systems, interview management tools, jobs and skills taxonomies, and talent pool automation platforms. Experience with Workday Skills Cloud, Workday Talent Module, Beamery, and SkyHive is strongly preferred
Main Responsibilities
Configuration Design and Optimization:
Lead the design and development of the Workday Talent Module, covering career development, performance management, and disciplinary actions. Ensure that the configuration aligns with global standards and is tailored to meet local requirements where necessary.
Contribute to the design and development of new Workday HCM configurations for Core and collaborate with partners to achieve best in class integration with other modules including Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and Time Tracking.
Analyze and remediate existing Workday tenant to improve global consistency of employee experience while also enhancing performance, scalability, and compliance.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with global and local HR stakeholders in the Talent Organization to gather, analyze, and disambiguate complex business requirements.
Translate stakeholder needs into actionable Workday solutions while ensuring alignment with broader HRIS and organizational goals.
Innovation and Expertise:
Stay updated on Workday’s latest features, releases, and best practices to maximize the platform’s capabilities for Sanofi.
Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday Talent modules, providing guidance and training to HRIS teams as needed.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure solutions adhere to regulatory requirements and Sanofi’s internal governance policies.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, workflows, and system processes.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital product management, functional expertise, HRIS technology, or related fields.
Technical Expertise: Strong technical background with experience in Workday Talent configuration and management. WD Talent Pro certification preferred. Familiarity with local HRIS systems and their integration with global platforms is highly desirable. Expertise in remediating and enhancing existing Workday tenants preferred.
Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of core HRIS data elements, core model maintenance and localization needs developed through experience in complex matrixed global organizations.
Business Process Knowledge: Knowledge of HR processes and policies in a global organization, and a strong ability to collect, analyze, and clarify business requirements from diverse global and local stakeholders.
