Job Title: Fullstack Developer (Node and React)
Location: Bangalore / Chennai
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in Node.js and React to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing responsive web applications and will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining high-performance applications. Experience in banking or retail domains is a plus.
Software Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years coding experience in:
- ReactJS (TypeScript), HTML, CSS (CSS Pre-processors or CSS-in-JS)
- NodeJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and NoSQL Databases.
- Knowledge of Data Structures for TypeScript.
- Familiarity with performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement highly responsive user interface components using React concepts.
- Architect and automate the build process for production using task runners or scripts.
- Monitor and improve front-end performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure quality of technical architecture and design across the organization.
- Research and benchmark technology against best-in-class solutions.
Technical Skills:
- Core Technologies:
- Excellent knowledge in developing scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js technologies.
- Proficiency in React.js, including core principles, components, and hooks.
- Strong understanding of modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- Containerization and Deployment:
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD principles.
- Familiarity with API gateway integrations (e.g., 3Scale).
- Authentication and Data Handling:
- Understanding of Single-Sign-On or token-based authentication (JWT, OAuth).
- Experience with task/message queues (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, Kafka).
- Development Practices:
- Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Proficient with unit testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, Jasmine, or equivalent.
- Understanding of linter libraries (TSLint, Prettier).
- UI Development:
- Experience with responsive UI frameworks (Styled Components, Tailwind CSS, Material UI).
- Familiarity with popular React workflows (Flux, Redux, ContextAPI).
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant coding experience in a production environment.
- Experience in Agile methodology and best coding practices.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in building enterprise-level applications.
Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to present ideas to senior management effectively.
- Self-motivated with the ability to own and drive projects without supervision.
- Ability to influence multiple teams on technical considerations, enhancing productivity and effectiveness.
