We are looking for a talented & motivated ‘Full-Stack Engineer’ who is interested in joining the Qualys team designing, developing and supporting a highly scalable SaaS based cloud security platform using open-source, cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
As part of the Qualys Engineering Team, you will be responsible for writing a highly dynamic and scalable microservice-based web applications built using ReactJS in the front-end, on top of Java back-end services and libraries along with technologies like Kafka, Cassandra, Oracle, Opensearch, Redis.
You will get to team up with highly talented and highly motivated engineers and architects innovating the next generation of Qualys Technology Platform processing over 100 million transactions and terabytes of data per day.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment prototyping, designing, developing, and supporting a highly scalable SaaS-based cloud security platform.
You will be collaborating with other engineering teams and product managers to understand customer requirements and create a cross-browser dynamic interface with rich user experience.
Requirements
1+ years of experience in developing cross-browser web-applications and services using Basic ReactJS / Redux / JavaScript / CSS, Java, Spring Boot, Oracle/MySQL, Redis.
Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
Capability to deliver prototypes, new features and improvements in a fast-paced environment as part of challenging and business-impacting projects.
Ability to work closely with product manager and cross-functional groups to contribute in the product increment cycle.
Willingness to learn new technologies and incorporate them into products or services.
Plus Points of you have;
Familiarity with Hibernate JPA, REST API, Cassandra, Kafka, OpenSearch
Good understanding of unit/integration test frameworks
Deeper understanding of network layer, HTTP, HTTPS, cookies, local storage, and good understanding of front-end security best practices and XSS, CSRF, etc
Good to have knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins and related CI/CD tools
