As a Frontend Developer, you will translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality code. Your primary focus will be on developing user interfaces and ensuring the responsiveness and performance of web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Develop user interfaces for web applications.
• Ensure the responsiveness and performance of applications.
• Collaborate with back-end developers and designers to improve usability.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement and maintain front-end security best practices, including XSS and CSRF prevention.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to improve the UI/UX.
• Stay up-to-date with latest technologies and industry trends.

 

Requirements:

• 5+ years of front-end development experience.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, browser DOM and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in native JavaScript and one or more frameworks such as ReactJS, AngularJS.
• Proficiency with debugging and testing tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools, Jest, Enzyme) to troubleshoot and improve the UI.
• Experience with front-end security best practices and vulnerabilities (e.g., XSS, CSRF).
• Experience with CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
• You will be reporting to Manager of Web Engineering

 

Good to Know:

• Experience with Node.js and AWS server technologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack.
• Experience with responsive design techniques & Agile development methodologies.
• Experience reviewing code to find and address potential issues and defects.
• Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners.
