Primary Roles & Responsibilities:
Independent Development:
- Independently analyze requirements and design, develop, and maintain robust frontend and backend solutions.
- Construct well-structured and scalable database schemas to support performance and application needs.
- Build high-quality frontend interfaces using Angular or React, implementing responsive and cross-browser-compatible designs.
- Implement state management solutions like Redux for efficient frontend data handling.
- Design and develop backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.js, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for both frontend and backend components to maintain code quality and reliability.
- Adapt to new technologies or frameworks quickly, learning on the fly as required.
System Understanding & Collaboration:
- Understand existing microservices architecture and be able to efficiently analyze codebases to understand flow and make necessary updates.
- Review and comprehend provided codebases to identify key flows and connections, enabling seamless integration of new features or modifications.
- Document technical designs and architectures, promoting clear and effective knowledge sharing across the team.
Secondary Roles & Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on live systems.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
- Actively contribute to keeping documentation up-to-date and improving internal processes.
