Your Role and Responsibilities The IBM Sustainability Software business unit is seeking talented and motivated Software Developers to work on the IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) family of products. In this role as a frontend developer, you will closely collaborate with other developers, UX designers and product managers using Scrum agile methodology, to develop new product capabilities and enhance existing features of the MAS UI and Mobile applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work on an industry leading Enterprise Asset Management suite of products, together with a large and international team of very talented engineers.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
2-3 years of experience in IT Industry creating efficient, scalable, and high- performance web applications.
Proven work experience as a Frontend Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects
Proficiency in React.js and its core principles/ STrong knowledge on Javascript
Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux or Flux)
Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines and tools Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
RDBMS: Any RDBMS
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Exceptional knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
Experience developing Single Page Web Applications and frameworks like React or equivalent.
Experience developing JS, CSS, HTML sites.
Professional experience building REST APIs.
