Role: FP& A Leader
Reporting to: Senior Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis
Location: Gurugram / Bangalore
What does success look like:
The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) leader will be responsible for overseeing the Sprinklr’s financial planning processes, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. You will provide strategic insights and financial recommendations to support executive decision-making and drive the company’s long-term financial success. The incumbent will lead a team of FP&A professionals and work closely with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with organizational goals.
What You’ll Do:
1. Financial Planning and Budgeting:
a. Lead the company’s annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning.
b. Develop and maintain detailed financial models, forecasting methods, and scenario analyses to support budgeting and strategic decision-making.
c. Work with department heads to ensure departmental budgets align with corporate objectives.
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis:
a. Oversee the preparation and presentation of regular financial reports, including variance analysis, key performance indicators (KPIs), and financial performance summaries.
b. Provide actionable insights and financial recommendations to senior management to drive business performance.
c. Analyse financial trends, operational performance, and market conditions to identify opportunities and risks.
3. Strategic Planning:
a. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company’s growth and profitability goals.
b. Business Controller with P&L Ownership
c. Play a key role in corporate strategy development, including long-term planning and resource allocation.
4. Team Leadership:
a. Manage and mentor a team of FP&A professionals, providing guidance on financial analysis, modelling, and reporting.
b. Foster a high-performance culture, emphasizing collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
a. Partner with business units (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations) to ensure financial targets and objectives are met.
b. Advise on capital expenditure decisions and the financial impact of major business initiatives.
c. Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment between FP&A and general accounting functions.
6. Risk Management & Compliance:
a. Ensure that financial forecasting, planning, and reporting processes comply with company policies, industry regulations, and accounting standards.
b. Identify and assess financial risks and propose mitigations or adjustments to keep the business on track.
7. Systems & Process Improvement:
a. Evaluate and improve financial systems, processes, and tools to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
b. Implement best practices for financial planning and analysis across the organization.
