Experience – 4 to 6 years
Expertise in the FIX (Financial Information Exchange) protocol and extensive experience in trading workflows to support the integration and implementation of a treasury system within a banking environment. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical and business teams, ensuring seamless integration of trading platforms and treasury systems.
Treasury System Implementation and Integration
1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for integrating the treasury system with the bank's existing infrastructure.
2. Configure and customize treasury systems to support FX trading, money markets, and cash management operations.
3. Oversee the end-to-end implementation of treasury platforms, ensuring compatibility with trading systems and regulatory standards.
FIX Protocol Expertise
1. Manage FIX connectivity with brokers, trading platforms, and counterparties.
2. Ensure FIX-based integration of treasury systems with other trading systems, such as OMS and EMS.
3. Test and validate FIX message flows for accuracy and completeness during the integration process.
4. Troubleshoot FIX-related issues, including session management and message parsing.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Training
1. Act as a liaison between the bank’s IT, treasury, and trading teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment of goals.
2. Train internal teams on using the integrated treasury and trading platforms effectively.
3. Collaborate with third-party vendors and brokers during integration and implementation phases.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• FIX Protocol Expertise: Deep understanding of FIX protocol message types, workflows, and tags (e.g., FIX 4.x versions).
• Treasury System Knowledge: Familiarity with treasury platforms like Murex.
• System Integration Experience: Proven track record of integrating trading systems, treasury systems, or OMS/EMS platforms in a banking environment.
• Technical Proficiency:
o Ability to interpret and analyze FIX logs for troubleshooting.
o Understanding of API-based integrations for treasury platforms.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
