Position            Systems Eng Supervisor

Job Summary  

Systems Eng Supervisor is responsible for execution of all engineering activities for multiple FAS/SACS projects assigned to him/her within the agreed schedule & budget, quality as per customer expectation and also responsible to manage a team of 8-12 engineers.

Key Responsibilities

·Responsible for achieving regional AOP plan for the region/ pole, People development, Customer satisfaction & maintaining Operational metrics

·Lead & technically mentor a team of designers for multiple FAS/SACS projects & deliver independently

·Review project inputs and tender specification. Project planning & execution for timely delivery, within cost and with quality expected from customers.

·Perform quality review on the deliverables to ensure high customer satisfaction.

·Estimation generation/validation for engineering manhours for design & programming, change management, risk management, quality management (corrective/preventive actions).

·Interface with customers for information, delivery & developing relations

·Effective development and utilization of the engineering team to maximize productivity through Re Engineering of existing process if required, development of tools, standardization of libraries, templates and guidelines.

·Drive continuous improvement culture within the team. Issues Resolution (Technical or other).

·Ensure process deployment along with Escalation management /issue resolution by interfacing with front office/field, location coordinator and GES delivery team

• Taking ownership of, managing and obtaining approvals for all change requests, particularly regarding scope and budget

People Management Responsibilities

·Motivate people, help negotiate priorities & to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders

·Participate in selection process, training & retention of team members.

·Ensure skills & competency development and knowledge transfer within and across the engineering teams.
