JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

• Responsible for Manufacturing Operations’ key activities in Novonesis.
• Support and work collaboratively with the designated Operations Team.
• Coordinate with Stakeholders/clients.  
• Responsible for Operations Support Activities for assigned Regions. 
• Provide necessary documentation and information to support query resolution.
• Forecasting and planning “Raw material” ordering and technical material.

• Develop and maintain finite production schedules that optimize machine capacity, labor availability, and material flow.
• Ensure on-time execution of production orders while balancing constraints such as lead times, batch sizes, and downtime.
• Adjust schedules in response to changes in demand, production delays, or supply chain disruptions.
• Work with the Master Production Scheduler (MPS) to align long-term planning with short-term execution.

• Partner with production teams to ensure schedules are executable and address bottlenecks proactively.
• Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules.
• Communicate daily and weekly scheduling priorities to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Ensure scheduling activities adhere to quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Generate reports on schedule performance, capacity utilization, and production efficiency for management review.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP/MRP systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies.

To succeed you must hold:

Educational:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.

Experience: 

2+ years of experience in production scheduling, finite scheduling, or supply chain planning

Behavioural Competencies:

Teamwork, Adaptability, Communication.  

Expertise required:

• Strong understanding of finite scheduling principles, capacity planning, and production workflows.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other analytics tools for scheduling analysis.

•  Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments.

•  Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP) and scheduling tools.

•  Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.

•  Willingness to work with a new team setup and rotational shifts.
