Support HP’s external financial reporting activities including the preparation of quarterly and annual reporting on Form 10-Q and Form 10-K, and other SEC filings as required.
Ensure continued compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data through strong control environment – actively prepare, analyze and document assigned key controls.
Support audit procedures and reporting inquiries; interact frequently with internal and external auditors.
Ensure timeliness of financial reporting deliverables
Actively performs benchmarking analyses to ensure HP's financials are comparable and compliant.
Other Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts on disclosure matters (e.g., legal, investor relations, FP&A, business leads).
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engage in the design.
Collaborate closely with investor relations team on the earnings materials.
Frequently interact with business groups, corporate controller and other corporate departments.
Support complex financial analysis and exercise a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.
Exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
Education and Experience Required:
First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred.
Typically 6+ years of experience in a finance function
