Conduct regular system and process analysis and audits to identify and resolve inefficiencies, data discrepancies, and bottlenecks in processes.
Engage with internal stakeholders to address and resolve moderately complex month end close issues, providing effective and timely solutions.
Monitor critical month-end close processes and jobs, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of essential financial operations, including revaluation, allocations, consolidations, and management reporting.
Research emerging trends and solutions to generate innovative ideas for system and process enhancements.
Lead initiatives to enhance financial systems and processes, serving as a key resource in related projects and team initiatives to improve the month end close process.
Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including user guides and standard operating procedures, to support end-user training.
Conduct research and data analysis, contributing to decision-making with actionable insights and recommendations.
Work independently on moderately scoped problems, exercising professional judgment and adhering to AFM policies, SOX, and Internal control procedures.
Education & Experience:
A four-year or graduate degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Typically requires 4-6 years of experience in finance operations or an advanced degree with relevant skills.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
Strong understanding of financial processes, including automation, business analysis, and SAP applications.
Proficiency in business systems analysis, data analysis, process improvement, and project management.
