About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join the Global Finance Operations team, where the successful candidate will focus on enhancing vendor experience and managing complex dispute resolutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify root causes of issues within the supply chain or internal Amazon systems and lead initiatives to resolve these problems. This includes conducting follow-up tasks, communicating opportunities for improvement, and developing action plans.
Analyze key supplier trends and govern mediation requirements based on these insights.
Serve as the main point of contact for top Amazon suppliers, working to build strong business relationships, foster mutual trust, and resolve any conflicts to prevent shipment holds or business interruptions.
Prepare and manage the vendor health scorecard, conducting reviews and identifying accounts at risk of delivery holds, proactively addressing account balances.
Address vendor account inquiries and concerns, ensuring vendors are well-versed in utilizing Amazon's tools.
Additional Responsibilities:
Analyze operational performance metrics and effectively present data to vendors and internal teams.
Work independently with strong attention to detail, demonstrating initiative in quickly identifying and resolving discrepancies, failures, and variances.
Collaborate with Retail and Finance teams to align priorities, business decisions, objectives, and communication strategies related to the same vendor accounts.
- 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 4+ years of Accounts Payable (AP) experience
- 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting
- Master's degree in accounting, information systems, finance, or equivalent
- Proficient with Advanced Excel · Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau/QuickSight
- Overall 6+ years’ experience with 4+ years of relevant experience in data analyst/statistical analysis role
- 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL

- 4+ years relevant data analysis and project management experience
- Able to work with financial analyses, assess and mitigate risk, forecast both long and short-term outcomes, and anticipate and navigate scenarios in a complex business environment
- Great organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail
- Highly flexible, with the ability to identify, analyze and solve problems systematically in a fast-paced, rapidly-evolving organization
- Ability to present and clearly communicate complex data, analyses and findings to non-experts
