The Financial Analyst(FA) will be part of GFS team supporting FinOps AP teams across the globe. We have about 44 processes with 60 different work drivers for AP Ops teams across various Amazon business channels. We plan to have end to end forecasting models for these processes fully automated in Anaplan. This analyst will primarily own detailed analysis of forecasting models for each business and provide visibility into work driver forecasts, Average Handling Time (AHT) trends and Headcount (HC) requirements for Ops leaders to make timely data driven decisions. He/She will be working with global Finops finance partners and Service Center (SC) finance teams to highlight the risk and opportunities identified through the models.
This FA will need to track various efficiency projects and understand the detailed assumptions/calculations that project owners have taken for ROI and connect them back to the work drivers we track and forecast in process models. He/She will drive improvement in the quality of monthly HC validation and manual work driver updates, by providing more 1 on 1 out-reach to SPOC’s from Ops team. This FA will also support designing and developing new forecasting models for processes that do not have end to end process models yet.
