- Generating cost reports from applicable systems and preparation of spend summary
- Tracking of Vendor spend against committed budgets
- Deliver weekly reporting on cost summary, budget variances (savings & exposures) including Projections
- Co-ordinate alignment of financial position between Finance & Vendor Management
- Govern timely payment to Vendors to better align financial status reporting against year to date plans
- Track and monitor vendor PO receipting and invoicing to ensure costs are incurred at correct cost center and no penalties
- Contribute to Design and deliver process improvement in cost efficiency tracking and delivery across Infrastructure & Cloud
- Contribute to the annual planning cycle for Budget for next Financial Year
- Has finance background/demonstrable commercial acumen and understands basic accounting skills
- Understands the work-flow in ERP and able to trouble-shoot
- Interpretation of large datasets from multiple sources
- Help the I&C management on adhoc reporting from time to time
- Work with all relevant stakeholders in ensuring all vendor transactions are processed seamlessly
- Be a team player and help in team environment & work towards common goals
- Documentation of the Process; exceptions & learnings for the benefit of the wider teams
- Report & escalate issues timely to ensure financial & reputational risks of the organization are safeguarded.
- Prepare dashboards, trends & KPI reports
- Responsible for managing variety of Technology Finance activity of one / more of the Key Managed Service Provider (MSP) and other technology service providers
- Proficient in formulating and interpreting Financial, MIS reports & other statements with a view to apprise management of the business operations and potential decision making
- Assist other colleagues in day to day tracking of events both financial & obligatory (contract standpoint) tasks for effective management of vendor relationship.
- Be an effective team player by backing other members’ activities of the team when necessary
- Maintain high quality work and trackers to ensure no surprises to the budget / expected spend
- Provide basic inputs to the annual budgeting exercise
- Identify & contribute to any cost avoidance / cost saving opportunities
- Be an active player in any cross functional collaborative projects within & outside the wider vendor management team as required.
