Professional Qualification required - ACA
Specialist Knowledge - Exposure to convergence in IND AS and basic knowledge in MCA filings
Experience levels - 5 Yrs post qualification (Must have min 3 yrs, post qualification in similar industry or role)

The main purpose of the job is
Manage the activities that fall under the purview of accounting, taxation and audit matters of GAC India. To coordinate and control management of accounting functions thereby providing support to management in the pursuit of growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities: -
Financial and Management Reporting - Work on monthly, quarterly, half yearly and Annual closing of books of Accounts.
perform financial analysis and meet corporate compliance with respect to legal, statutory, operational accounting policies and requirement.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and other regulatory requirements
Audit & Internal Control
To assist in ensuring compliance of various internal SOPs, processes and Accounting Manuals and Internal Controls procedures.
Coordinate and assist in facilitating various audits, including Internal Audits, GAC Group Audits, and Statutory Audits
Convergence to IND AS
Assessing current accounting practices against Ind AS guidelines
Identify areas of divergence, making necessary adjustments to financial statements,
Implementing new accounting policies aligned with Ind AS
Taxation matters
Tax planning & computation of company taxation, Oversee GST compliance
Compliance work for GST and corporate tax return, verify computation of tax provision.
Liaise with relevant government department on various corporate taxation matters.
Managing day to day operations
Cashflow matters - Assist GM Finance to ensure effective Cash Flow management.
Other transactional / operational matters like
Liaise with auditor, tax consultants, lawyers, bankers and other professional advisors, etc.
Monitor and review KPI of the team.
Perform Ad-hoc project.
