Lead the development of annual budget, quarterly forecasts and multi-year business plans, pertaining to all aspects of the unit's software development, technology operations and India based operations
Prepare, review and maintain monthly and quarterly financial projections and ensure consistency in forecasting processes
Partner with India business operations team to prepare and interpret financial reports and forecasts for our India based operations
Prepare and present various internal financial reports/analysis to Development Leadership and Global Technology team
Track, analyze and report on key metrics for IT projects
Perform financial modeling and evaluation of strategic financial/operational initiatives
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities for driving efficiencies and accuracy of processes
Partner with key operational leaders within WK and becoming subject matter expert for corporate allocations and technology operations
Ensure that Pune unit meets all regulatory requirements of Central government and institutions like RBI and STPI
Liaison with external agencies like auditors and WK internal finance function.
Evaluate and assess vendors for various services required at GIC like GST refund, GST filing etc.
Oversee SLAs for payments to vendors and employees
Support financial audit requirements (internal/compliance)
Work with the external accounting vendor and ensure all accounting operations are correctly done in timely manner
Raise risks with the unit head for possible non-compliance, and plan preventive/mitigating actions
Work with unit head, operations manager, administration manager for routine accounting operations and ensure timely completion
Minimum Qualifications
8-12 years of related finance experience with emphasis in FP&A or corporate finance
Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Accounting or related degree.
Highly proficient in Excel, Access and financial modeling
Preferred Qualifications
Technology or Software industry experience highly preferred
Master’s Degree in Finance or related master’s degree or professional qualification as a Chartered accountant.
