Job Title: Finance Analyst – Home Care Cost Control

The BG is on a strategic journey to drive clean future by disrupting and transforming the cleaning industry from highly chemical dependents to green and sustainable cleaning, through innovation and premiumization. In parallel the Business Group priority is to step up profitability through net productivity (SC/BMI/Overheads), network transformation, concertation and premiumization together with selective portfolio rationalization.

The Global Home Care Finance team partners our global cross-functional business teams and other local finance teams to set and implement strategy, drive performance and ensure value generation in almost 100 markets that we operate in. Based in Bangalore and reporting to the Home Care Innovation Finance Manager, the role of the Finance Analyst is to help land the global Home Care CIP (Marketing and Research & Development (R&D) overheads and BMI spend) in line with budget.
The role provides a strong foundation for candidates to develop cost controlling expertise and business partnering skills.
Key Responsibilities
Monthly reporting and forecasting cycle of CIP (category innovation) and R&D spend
Prepare monthly forecast submission based on Easybudget input and historical phasing
Track in-month actual spend against forecast and follow-up with teams on biggest gaps
Prepare and share monthly spend report with global Home Care teams based in UK
Process requests for accruals, reclassification and intercompany invoicing
Lead quarterly GRIR (Goods Receipt and Inspection Report) clearing and November hard close
EasyBudget management (Excel-based budget tool)
Manage user access & communication
Support teams in creating projects and requesting internal orders
Support teams in reflecting budget at project level
Ensure all spend is allocated to projects (agency fees, prepayment schedule, reclass/accruals)
Reflect forecast of agency fees (provided by central Finance Excellence Team - FET), prepayments and manual reclass
Support on ad-hoc topics
Annual budget setting, including statistical cost allocation to country teams
Project cost benchmarking
Ad-hoc analytics
Masterdata governance
Cost Center creation support
Cost Allocation (FCCR) Process – ICC (Int Cost Centre) & CC (cost centre) Annual Review

Clearly communicate budgets to marketing and central Home Care team and ensure delivery is in line with targets.
Global Home Care Finance
Support Home Care category finance manager and R&D finance manager in landing CIP marketing spend in line with budget
Global FET
Work with Global FET Cost Control team to deliver overheads and BMI budget
Work together to develop future fit reporting and analysis required for the BG.
