Job descriptionKey Responsibilities: Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals, government agencies, and large healthcare institutions. Ensure consistent communication and follow-up with clients to support product sales, handle queries, and resolve issues. Regularly visit institutions and stakeholders to build a deep understanding of their needs and preferences. Sales Target Achievement: Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for assigned institutions. Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and regular performance reports for the assigned territory. Work with the marketing and product teams to create strategies for promoting products in institutional settings. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate sales contracts, tender submissions, and pricing with institutional clients in accordance with company policies and government regulations. Ensure timely renewals of contracts and agreements. Market & Competitor Analysis: Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats. Provide feedback to internal teams for product positioning, pricing, and promotions to stay competitive in the institutional segment. Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and ethical standards in all dealings with institutional clients. Work closely with the legal and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, tenders, and contracts. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with medical representatives, product managers, and the supply chain team to ensure smooth order processing, timely deliveries, and product availability in institutions. Assist in the execution of product training and presentations for institutional customers. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics. Submit regular sales reports to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas of opportunity. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in institutional sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the institutional or B2B space. Key Skills: Strong understanding of institutional sales processes and hospital procurement systems. Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Strong communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Understanding of local pharmaceutical regulations and compliance requirements. Preferred: Experience working with government tenders and contracts.
