The Field Application Specialist for Cytiva is part of the BioProcess Upstream team located in Hyderabadand will be customer facing in nature. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Technical Support & Product Integration: Serve as the technical interface for upstream processes and technologies to potential and existing customers, specializing in single-use bioreactors, mixing systems, and cell culture media. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to support existing customers and integrate Cytiva products into new projects.
• Customer Engagement & Influence: Coordinate technical discussions with customers, understanding their needs and recommending suitable applications from the product portfolio. Establish and build relationships with key decision-makers, influencing orders and ensuring follow-ups for high-impact opportunities.
• Process Improvement & Product Evaluation: Partner with commercial teams for customer surveys, inquiries, and product briefs, offering insights and recommendations for process improvements. Identify beta test sites, perform product evaluations at customer locations, and seek co-publications for novel applications.
• Industry Engagement & Knowledge Sharing: Stay updated with current scientific literature and competing technologies, sharing knowledge within the team and participating in external technical conferences and industry forums. Deliver impactful technical presentations tailored to various markets, complementing commercial sales activities. Willing to travel cross-regionally to support internal team commitments and provide timely customer support.

​ The essential requirements of the job include:

• Education: Masters with 3-5 years’ experience in the Biopharmaceutical Industry [ R&D/ MSAT/ Mfg].
• Hands-on experience with Single use Bioreactors, preferably Cytiva and/ or Pall.
• Technical Knowledge: Excellent understanding of Upstream Technology esp. Single Use technology, Cell culture media and Digital / Process analytical tools.
