What you’ll do:


Job Family Definition:


Provides consulting to businesses, functions, and geographies that utilize IT services and drives effective business engagement for IT. Understands the specific goals and needs of the business, function, or geography and represents those needs to the IT organization. Develops and maintains relationships with appropriate members of the business/function/geography organization. Works to align business, function, and geography requirements with IT plans and priorities. Facilitates business, function, and geography involvement in IT projects to identify requirements, gather feedback, and finalize scope. Identifies opportunities for IT to leverage solutions across business, function, and geographic organizations. Establishes effective processes for managing the relationship on an ongoing basis. Communicates IT standards and new IT solutions, processes, and policies to the businesses, functions, and geographies. Connects business/function/geography “customers” with appropriate IT technical resources when technical discussions are necessary.


Management Level Definition:


Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.


Responsibilities:


  • Establishes and maintains relationships with several business implementation teams. Uses deep business knowledge and business acumen to drive improvements in IT engagement for major initiatives. Influences overall IT and business planning interlock.
  • Communicates specific IT decisions relevant to the business implementation teams.
  • Represents the needs of the business, function, or geography during implementation projects.
  • Communicates standard IT solutions to meet the needs of the business, function geography or organization.
  • Actively participates in selected IT projects to ensure that business, function, and geography "customers" receive sufficient and timely communications.
  • Follows defined processes and implements process changes as needed to meet ongoing IT objectives.

What you need to bring:


Education and Experience Required:


  • Typically a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 years of related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 4 years experience.

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Consultant must be knowledgeable in core FICO modules [ Enterprise structure, Gl, AR, AP, AA, Banking, CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, COPA, CO-PC.]
  • Should be able to configure in all the FICO modules stated above
  • Should have knowledge of integration between SAP FICO and other SAP modules like MM, SD and HCM.
  • Should be able to write FDS and work on Customized development with ABAP team.
  • Should have expert knowledge of working on RICEFW objects.
  • Should be able to write FDS and work on Customized development with ABAP team.
  • Should be able to end to end testing of all FICO processes in all FICO modules. Tests include unit testing and regression testing. Should assist business in unit testing
  • Should be able to resolve any testing discrepancies
  • Should be able to demo the functionality developed and unit tested.
  • Should have helped in the creation of training, product, and solution documentation
  • Assisted in migration of financial data from legacy systems to SAP, ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through quality work and effective communication throughout projects
