Operational


·To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badge according to the set standards.


·To maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the hotel/department grooming standards.


·To make table reservation and thereby effectively control and maximize the flow of guests.


·To maintain and update the hotel restaurants guest history records.


·To maintain and update the data on Reservation Assistant which include restaurant floor plans and seating capacity.


·To adhere to the telephone procedure of handling calls.


·To assist in the operation and service as required.


·To provide friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.


·To be fully conversant with all services and facilities offered by the hotel.


·To be aware of all hotel activities and Food and Beverage promotions.


·To perform opening and closing procedures established for the Place of Work.


·To handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests.


·To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items in the menu and the ability to recommend Food and Beverage combinations and upsell alternatives.


·To be aware of special events going on in Delhi.


·To ensure that the place of work and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times.


·To maintain a good working relationship with your colleagues and all other departments.


·To comply with local legislation as required.


·To respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the needs of the Hotel.


·Ensure to keep all guest data confidential as per the Hyatt Compliance Policy


Other duties


·To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.


·To maintain a good rapport and working relationship with staff in the Place of Work and all other departments.


·To attend and contribute to all staff meetings Departmental and Hotel trainings scheduled and other related activities.


·To undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned by the Supervisor.


·To respond to any changes in the place of work as dictated by the hotel.


·To project at all times a positive and motivated attitude and exercise self-control.


·To have a complete understanding of the Income Audit Section in the Operations Manual and Policies &Procedures.



  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in similar position.
  • Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
  • Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills.
