Job Overview :
Food and Beverage is what adds flavour to a stay! Guests love to enjoy delicious, freshly-prepared and beautifully presented food. To deliver a great guest experience – A Restaurant Hostess will provide anappropriate welcome at Restaurants for guests and potential guests, helping guests to have memorable experiences whenever and wherever they dine.

Duties and responsibilities :


  • To provide an appropriate welcome at Restaurants for guests and potential guests, maximizing their dining experience using technical and individual social skills.
  • Supports the Food and Beverage Service team by performing support duties including mise en place of food preparation, set up of functions or restaurants, set up of food and beverage equipment and assisting with the preparation of service.
  • Recommend and upsell dishes and beverages
  • Escort guests to their preferred table or reserved table and seat guests according to restaurant standards.
  • Take telephone bookings and document in the Reservation book according to restaurant standards

  • Solicit guest feedback to improve on consistent service.
  • Take action to solve guest problems/complaints and use established guidelines for any service recovery
  • to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain current information on all general activities of the hotel.
  • Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as   brand standards and local policies and procedures.

Qualifications and requirements :


  • High School or Vocational Certificate in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or related field. 
  • One year of experience in F & B Service preferred.
