External Consultant – PR Team Lead

APCO Worldwide in India began operations in 2007. Our offerings in India include Corporate Advisory, Government Relations, Strategic Communications, Coalition Building, Crises Management and Consulting Services. 
We are looking for a PR team lead having eight years of experience in PR media, public affairs and advocacy. This will be a fixed term contract for the period of one year.
 

Key responsibilities would include:

• Serve as the team leader of the project and primary POC of APCO Worldwide
• Be able to handle a team of 7 members.
• Dedicate full attention to the project.
• Be based in Jaipur.
• Take responsibility for the overall execution and timely completion of all assigned tasks.
• Implement deliverables as directed on a regular basis.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and other media personnel.
• Develop and implement PR strategies and campaigns aligned with the Government’s goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in related field
• Minimum of eight years of experience in PR media, public affairs, and advocacy.
• Experience with at least three PR projects, either completed or ongoing, involving State or Central Government, PSU, any government body, or any leading industry association.
• Experience as part of a PR team for any state investment summit.
