Boeing India is currently seeking a Lead to join the Global Sourcing & Vendor Management (GSVM) team in Bangalore, India. The role is responsible for leading a team and supporting Information Technology and will assist with the Supplier Billing and Audit Management. This organization reports directly into IT Strategy and Operations and is responsible managing strategic billing, sourcing efforts and vendor performance to ensure the business needs of IT are met with the optimal mix of work done internally and externally through Boeing IT s supply chain.
The lead role will include managing and supervising a team of billing specialists. The position will interface with multiple operational groups across the Boeing Company and suppliers to obtain and secure accurate data for billing and supplier service requests. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of advanced Audit Management and operational issues related to billing management.
Position Responsibilities:
Accomplishes Organizational objectives by training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions and adhering to the company policies and procedures.
Meets billing operational standards by contributing billing information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and required-service standards; resolving problems; identifying billing system improvements.
Meets billing financial standards by providing annual billing information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
Accomplishes billing objectives by measuring billing results against plans; evaluating and improving methods; making required changes.
Guides employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating billing procedures,
Resolves conflicts, order and invoice disputes; maintaining supplier and Boeing internal stakeholder relations.
Performs daily activities of billing and auditing of assigned claims
Identifies simplification and automation opportunities
Utilizes metrics to improve team performance
Leads and Supports internal and external auditors
Updates billing procedures, methods, and guidelines
Communicates with management on day-to-day issues
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
9+years of experience as a Billing Specialist in Finance or similar role
Strong team player
Exceptional relationship-building skills and resource optimization skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage time appropriately
Experience with a large customer base and high transaction volume
Ability to translate and analyze data into reports
Understanding of Billing Audits
Passion for numbers and financial data
Proficiency in MS Suite , MS Access and Automation tools
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
Strong leadership skills. Ability to delegate task and implement processes and procedures
Must be able to work during USA business hours. Ability to work overtime during peak times
2+ years of supervisory experience in a similar role
Demonstrated ability to mentor, train and coach junior teammates to develop technical skills required for improved job performance
Demonstrated ability and knowledge of industry best practices specific to Billing and Audit Management Process Optimization.
Strong organizational and project management skills
Robust Supplier management skills
Strong working knowledge of SAP Ariba

Must possess the ability to examine and verify financial documents and report
Typical Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and typically 12 to 17 Years related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 11 to 16 Year's.
