Role Summary:
This role will be part of the procurement team in the Supply Chain organization. The ideal candidate should have high energy to drive for results and will be responsible for working with our procurement team, expediting suppliers, updating the system,following up RFQs, maintaining KPI reports, tracking purchase orders (PO’s) for the assigned jobs and other general duties.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Run daily reports, issuing open PO reports to suppliers.
Direct communication with suppliers for expediting/status updates .
Track RFQ’s to support Sourcing Specialists as required,
Attend Kick off meetings with the Project management team, customer and all other stakeholders.
Maintain daily, weekly, monthly KPI reports.
Regularly update the materials flow.
Buy items as required to support procurement team.
At all times comply with Flowserve Safety, Integrity & Ethics procedures/policies.
Compliance with Flowserve Supply Chain policies & procedures.
Other duties as assigned
Preferred Experience / Skills:
Experience in purchasing, expediting roles.
Ability to work in a team oriented, fast paced environment.
Basic data analysis skills.
Demonstrated sense of urgency and responsiveness based on the needs of the business.
Proficiency with MS Office, primarily Excel.
