Main Responsibilities
•Collaborate and engage with decarbonization subject matter expert and managers to understand their needs and requirements and ensure that service operations are aligned with these needs
•Develop & follow work instructions and checklist as defined for each process across domains to ensure validity & integrity of Carbon accounting activities.
•Engage in quality management activities as & when assigned.
•Foster the sharing and dissemination of knowledge and best practices within the organization.
•Utilize statistical tools for analyzing records and preparation of reports as requested.
•Execute effective change management program for applicable processes as and when required due to sustainability updates or business requirements.
The Executive – Sustainability Accounting will be responsible across three domains - Governance & Standards, Accounting & Reporting and Action.

Governance & Standards
•Support the development of a standardised framework for all decarbonisation project applications
•Establish Carbon Data Governance Scope 1,2,3 (primary + secondary data, CCF, PCF, emission factors usage, modelling)
•Explore internal carbon pricing methodology to facilitate decarbonisation initiative funding.
•Establish Azelis PCF calculation method, based on GHG and TfS standards
❖Accounting and Reporting
•Monthly internal review of sustainability data in Tennaxia
•CO2 KPI monthly follow up
•Reconciliation of financial + non-financial reporting for IR
•Carry out annual carbon re-baselining (as per SBTi requirements)
❖Action
•Develop & refine tracking system for Scope 1,2,3 emissions reduction targets and related actions
•Evaluate which decarbonisation initiatives should be successful through creation of MAC Curves (or similar) pertaining to each individual project and track their delivery, support decision making for project approvals
Qualification & Skills
•Master’s degree or higher in sustainability, environmental sciences, engineering, or related discipline.
•3-5 years of experience in carbon accounting and/or climate change mitigation or relevant fields.
In depth knowledge of Scope 1,2, 3 categories.
•Awareness of greenhouse gas accounting methodologies and emission factors.
•Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability frameworks.
•Comfortable to work in international team across time zones.
•Excellent knowledge of English, written and oral.
•Excellent IT skills, including strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
•Familiarity with Azelis’ IT Landscape and processes is an advantage but not a requirement.
•Awareness on QMS ISO 9001:2005 will be an added advantage
