You lead the plan-do-check-act (PDCA) process of the site quality management system and report results to the quality section manager.
How you will contribute
You will support elements of the site’s quality system, including internal documentation and change management control including quality policies amendments and registration of internal and external documentation, internal audits, effective PDCA cycles and CAPA system management and management review. In addition, you will coordinate the eQCMS bi-annual review, handle consumer complaints from start to finish, and serve as a key contact for food regulatory agency inspection and contacts management.

More about this role
1. Purpose
The purpose of this role is to ensure the consistent implementation of Global and Regional Quality & Food Safety policies at an external manufacturing site (Malted Food Division). The role is responsible for deploying best practices in Quality & Food Safety in alignment with Mondelez’s global quality policy and specific requirements for external manufacturing..
2. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure end-to-end Quality and Food Safety Compliance (HACCP) at the external site.
- Drive improvements in product quality and consumer complaint reduction by enforcing quality systems and processes.
- Support Central Quality’s consumer complaint reduction agenda and implement sanitation improvements.
- Participate in I2M processes to ensure product safety and quality.
- Assist the Quality Lead and Category Manager in CQV requirements for NPD and capacity projects.
- Conduct audits, manage CAPA, and oversee change management at the site.
- Build site team capabilities through training programs.
- Ensure HALAL and other regulatory compliance.
Education / Certifications:
- Graduate in Food/Dairy Technology or MSc in Food Science; 2-4 years’ experience in food/dairy manufacturing, with experience in Biscuit and Chocolate lines a plus.
Job specific requirements:
- Knowledge of FSSC 22000, QMS/FSMS, and food safety standards (e.g., FSSC, HALAL, BRC).
- Familiarity with Laboratory Management (ISO 17025), sanitation practices, and pest control.
- Knowledge of Indian and international standards for utilities and equipment hygiene.
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
- Strong collaboration, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
