Overview The main objective of this position is to support Procurement leadership and Global Category / Commodity teams through online platform by collecting, analyzing and recommending the viable scenarios which helps Category & Commodity teams to plan their sourcing strategy Responsibilities GP Service Delivery Work closely with Procurement Insights Delivery Lead in transitioning new GP services based on the process transition plans and meeting all defined SLAs and KPIs as per the road-map. Work closely with procurement leadership of multiple sectors and category managers to understand their MI needs and identify opportunities where MI can support Lead market research and intelligence across multiple categories to ensure that the latest industry trends, innovations and developments are communicated across the Procurement team on an ongoing basis as well as when required to support sourcing initiatives. Ensuring clear and transparent communication upward, across, and downward Act as a role model for the team and execute MI projects when needed. Prepare industry reports covering market/location overview, industry size, market players, best practices, trends and developments, drivers and challenges. Understanding the process and workflow to the extent that ideas are generated around eliminating gaps in content and establishing best practices. Build strong relationships and collaboration, manage trusted stakeholder relationships internally and externally. People & Organization Monitor and manage team performance, including maintaining & communicating Time Utilization & quality stats) Responsible for the leadership, organization, coordination, development and execution of the Market Intelligence Services Support talent development and exchange across delivery teams to ensure that future organization structure allows to attract and retain the best talent for the future. Drive team spirit, cultural change and foster diversity and inclusion agenda at the HBS site Manage external associates and vendor relationship, in local scope wherever applicable. Qualifications Must have work experience as a Research Analyst of wide range of indirect categories and Commodity segments. Thorough knowledge of various regional & international Indexes and their trend. Must be able to prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual fundamental reports on various categories/commodities on regular basis. Must be able to keep up to date all relevant knowledge related to the commodities market. Prepare and present the presentation on various topics to internal stakeholders. Must be able to analyse the impact of global political / economic / geographical events on commodities and accordingly support commodity buyers on their decision making Strong report writing and Power Point presentation skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. Understanding of different categories & sourcing strategies Global procurement experience is an added advantage. Strong analytical thinking with proven ability to connect data & to digestible representations to generate insights. Demonstrated ability to deliver top-quality research output that is accurate, analytical and error-free. Advanced Excel skills Experience with visualization platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau etc.) will be preferred. Structured thinker / problem solver who works independently. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Very strong Team/Stakeholder Management skills (especially in remote team/stakeholder management) Great Collaborator Language: English Fluent (Written & Oral) Solid understanding of procurement processes with good exposure on indirect categories Commodity Analytics / Trading / Statistical background preferred.
