Support the execution of legal, compliance and secretarial functions in India.


The candidate will support and be the single point of contact with business for all legal compliance requirements and will support the Manager in fulfillment of functions as required.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Should be aware of secretarial functions of a private limited company and be able to support the company secretary in conduct of day to day matters pertaining to the Danone group of companies in India.
  • Should have Drafting experience for  legal agreements such as General and Special Terms & Conditions of the Contract, Memorandum of Understanding, LOI, Leave & License Agreement, Lease Agreement, Vendor Agreements, Client Agreements, Service, Works & Material Supply Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Service Agreement, Power of Attorneys, Affidavit, Indemnities and other commercial contracts and agreements;
  • Will be required to handle digital projects for agreements, document repository of standard templates .
  • Hands on experience in litigation and arbitration proceedings including dealing with contractual disputes, formulating replies to legal notices, coordinate with external lawyers, briefing oadvocates and counsels.
  • Management of MIS for all litigation and non-litigation worked assigned to the Legal Department including Company online portals and reporting tools.
  • Support to formulate policies and processes, adherence to processes. Formulate compliance checklists to be used for the purpose of ensuring that the same are followed.
  • Conduct trainings
  • Continuously monitor compliance with statutory obligations and advise management and business as per on applicable policies.
  • Intellectual Property matters § Work closely with IP lawyers for filing trademarks and copyright applications § Attending hearings on behalf of the Company

  • 4+ years of relevant working experience
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders simultaneously
  • Ability to process and interpret various forms of information in order to make fact-based decisions
  • Ability to create and make presentations to formal and informal stakeholders
  • Qualification - CS and LLB
  • Experience - 4 plus years
