Accounts and Finance Executive

Job Description

• Oversees purchase workflow, to ensure that controls around purchase accounting is appropriate;
• Support all functions on month-end review and analysis of accounts payable, general ledgers, accounts receivable, payroll and vendor payments;
• Ensure smooth accounting process for Opex and Capex on a timely manner in SAP;
• Ensure seamless closure and reporting of Accounts payable on a monthly basis;
• Continuous improvement of vendor payment processes;
• Work with procurement function to support vendor reconciliations, managing escalations, timely payment as per due dates;
• Generating various reports on accurate and timely basis;
• Responsible for resolving queries related to overall accounting and financial process; 
• Responsibility of month end checklist and driving the team to ensure the required information is entered in SAP.
• Establish contact / build relationship with key stakeholders;
• Responsible for resolving queries related to payment processing, etc.; 
• Ensure proper statutory deductions & compliances;
• Generating various reports on accurate and timely basis;

Skills Required

• Education - B.Com / M.Com/ MBA;
• Knowledge of GST and withholding tax is a must
• Good communication skills;
• Should be Energetic;
• Strategic & Analytical Mind;
• The ideal candidate should be a Commerce graduate with excellent Accounting / Finance knowledge; and
• SAP knowledge is a must
• Candidate should be well versed with Excel

Experience

• Candidates having more than 3 years of experience in Accounts & Finance and SAP.
