This position functions is for Solenis India basis, covering India, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka and is responsible for supplying cost effective and reliable equipment systems that support the sales of CS. The scopes shall include customer equip system specifications, engineering/design of Chemical Dosing Skids, construction oversight, field installation, equipment start-up, troubleshooting & repair, a very hands-on position. This position is the equipment primary liaison for the field sales force and functions with limited supervision.
The customer equipment engineer supports the application and development of equip in an assigned market segment. The Customer Equip Engineer support for scope-out, install and troubleshooting of equipment operation at customer sites.
A Customer Equip Engineer will typically have a min. of 4-5 years in the design and application of equipment and has developed a satisfactory-good knowledge of a specific product area. The CE-Engineer is expected to have knowledge of different type of pumps principle and various controllers, A CE-Engineer is expected to understand customer value drivers, be considered an expert in support of a product line and be capable of recommending some design upgrades to improve product offering. The CE Engineer may work on designing new system jointly with a senior CE System Engineer, or with APAC-Customer Equip Engineering & Servicer Manager of the equip team. Able to work long hours, away from family for a duration and response to equip issues & solving them to reduce downtime. This individual shall work closely with Solenis India commercial team to ensure that they have the equipment necessary that fit an application, but do not compromise safety to capitalize on sales opportunities.
