Title and Summary
Enterprise Operations Engineer II-2Overview
• Globally partnering with our customers to deliver world class technical support for MasterCard infrastructures and applications, enabling growth, diversification and new business generation.
• Provide 24x7x365 technical operations support for MasterCard’s global infrastructure; with focus on minimizing impact to Customers and internal users.
• Monitor the infrastructure and be a key stakeholder in MasterCard Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.
• Regularly perform data analysis to determine MasterCard’s performance and identify areas of improvement.

Responsibilities
• Provides technical support and maintenance for Mastercard’s operations environment with an emphasis on networking technologies
• Maintains services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health
• Identifies areas for program enhancements and provides potential improvements to management within the program environment
• Participates in testing, troubleshooting, resolving and documentation
• Assists with evolving systems through automation and improving reliability and efficiency
• Perform change tasks as assigned.
• May manage smaller project/initiatives as an experienced individual contributor with specialized knowledge within assigned discipline
Experiences
• Experience providing moderate to complex technical support and maintenance for networking technologies within the operations environment
• Experience identifying areas for operations enhancements and supporting implementation of optimization efforts
• Gains familiarity with using ITSM processes and best practices
• Actively participates in shift turnovers, interpreting escalated issues, and providing guidance on unresolved common issues
