QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science in computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics, physics or related field
- 12+ years of total experience in agile software development process with hands-on experience in automation and implementation of reliable test automations
- 5+ years of experience in leading large quality assurance teams of 10+ engineers with focus on big data analytics, Azure cloud solutions with AI or generative AI
- Proven track record of testing data-driven secure software solutions preferably within large enterprise context
- Broad working experience testing web-based applications (built on HTML/Javascript/React) and Automation tool like Cypress / Playwright /Selenium / Protractor etc.
- Hands-on testing of big data pipelines built on Spark or Databricks, with visualization tools like PowerBI being a plus
- Exposure to different performance testing techniques, such as front end, load testing, stress testing in very large data context
- Exposure to API testing with hands-on experience with tools like Postman
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive, creative and efficient test plans
- Ability to manage own learning and contribute to team learning and knowledge building

WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will be a leader of Periscope’s technology team with responsibilities that range from shaping and ensuring that a McKinsey’s products or services meet the highest quality standards.
You will have a hands-on role in leading the quality and delivery assurance of Growth, Marketing & Sales (GM&S) practice. You will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes within the organization. This includes developing and implementing quality standards, building automation tools, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The domain requires extensive understanding of Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Big data analytics, Cloud Native technologies and DevOps.
As an Engineering Manager for one of our largest product suites, you will lead a team of quality assurance professionals to oversee the quality testing and deployment processes and identify gaps or issues and systematically address them. As part of the journey, you will proactively engage with product and technical stakeholders proposing solutions to their emerging challenges and needs.
You will drive team to experiment with latest quality tooling using generative AI to improve efficiency and efficacy of the testing process. You will be an active learner, keep abreast of new technologies and ways of working that might be beneficial to the organization. You will develop a growth mindset and relish opportunities to use familiar and unfamiliar technologies, closed source and open source software, and develop better approaches to solving business and technical challenges.
You will also provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to the technical leads and developers to grow high performing teams; attending and occasionally talking at industry conferences.
