Role Definition: Engineering Manager- Tracked Products- Machines Light and Heavy Structures
Responsibilities:
•Good product functional knowledge on Mining Tracked Machines such as Surface Rock Drills, Hydraulic Mining Shovels, Electric Rope Shovels, Draglines and Large Track Type Tractors
•Strong Product Design and Development Experience: Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production. Should have experience working on multiple NPI/CPI projects and providing Subject Matter Expert guidance.
•Managing staffing, development, and performance management programs for engineering teams; motivating and developing project and team leaders.
•Providing specialized engineering technical support and consulting services to Machine Light and Heavy Structures. Deep working proficiency in Machines Light and Heavy Structural Design & development
•Managing high-impact, short and long duration engineering initiatives and projects; ensuring achievement of engineering plan and product quality.
•Maintaining product release plans and material plans; driving programs to completion on time and within budget.
Qualification:
Accredited Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 15+ years of experience in the relevant field.
