Role Purpose:
Rockwell Automation's Salesforce enables Software and Service contracts and renewal process and is a critical application for company's digital transformation to enable annual recurring revenue.
As an experienced and passionate member of an agile capability team you will deploy leading edge engineering and product configuration solutions to deliver value to our customers. The team uses multiple technologies including Azure cloud to provide these new solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, management information systems, engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 yrs of experience as a Salesforce developer
CPQ Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of Salesforce CPQ (formerly known as Steelbrick CPQ).
- Configure and customise CPQ solutions based on our requirements.
- Experience with Price Rules, Discount Schedules, Product Rules, and other CPQ functionalities.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Apex, Visualforce, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
- Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs for integrating Salesforce with other systems.
- 3+ years of experience in Experience cloud.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Integration Skills:
- Experience integrating Salesforce CPQ with other business systems, such as ERP or billing platforms.
- Knowledge of middleware tools like MuleSoft or Salesforce Integration Cloud.
Customization and Configuration:
- Proficiency in customising Salesforce CPQ objects, layouts, and workflows.
- Create custom validation rules, triggers, and automation.
Test and Debugging:
- Experience reviewing code to find and address potential issues and defects testing and debugging skills to ensure the stability and reliability of CPQ solutions.
CPQ Certifications:
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification or equivalent certifications related to Salesforce and CPQ.
