Role
Production Planning & Control engineer Focuses on managing production Planning to optimize the use of resources and meet production schedules and This is a critical and a full-time role whose responsibility is to ensure smooth and timely execution of Production Planning activities.
Your responsibilities
Create and schedule job orders based on Sales Orders and prepare the Production Plan to meet delivery requirements.
Coordinate with the Planner for accurate BOM migration and attribute mapping and ensure accurate material inputs for procurement.
Provide essential prerequisites for order execution, such as final drawings, ITP, painting specs, and packing procedures.
Facilitate interdepartmental coordination to ensure timely receipt of materials and initiate production activities as planned.
Organize weekly material and production review meetings and prepare and submit weekly progress reports to Project Managers.
Monitor Budget vs Actual to ensure order execution within the budget, coordinate with Quality & Project Managers for inspection and dispatch clearances, and ensure SLOB reduction and optimal inventory levels.
What you bring
In depth knowledge of planning and scheduling process.
Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
Understanding of technical specification & drawings in purchase orders.
Expert in MSOffice including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Hands on experience in ERPs.
Education Qualification
Bachelor’s degree from a reputed University, specializing in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
5 - 10 years of experience in production planning and control.
